Obverse: right facing bare-head bust with 'R.S.' initials to the truncation for engraver Robert Saunders, 'WILLIAM IIII, KING.' around. Reverse: 'ONE RUPEE' in the centre with Indian script below within a wreath with the date (1835) below and 'EAST INDIA COMPANY' around. Weight: 11.56g. Diameter: 30.5mm. Grade: aVF - approaching Very Fine, light-toned and attractive.
