A carriage or boy's smallsword, c 1740, hollow triangular section colichmarde blade 25" etched with scrolled panels and a rather masculine looking angel, steel hilt with double shellguard embossed with flower heads and stylised trophies in oval medallions, pierced pommel and wire bound leather covered grip. GC, some wear to the hilt which is heavily lacquered. £300-350
