A pair of late 18th century Derby soft paste porcelain companion figures, William Duesbury & Co., circa 1775, modelled as a male and female ballad singer, each in standing pose wearing a cape, with an arm raised holding a sheet of music in their hands and a hand on hip, on shaped naturalistic bases encrusted with flowers, patch marks to bases, female 21cm high, male 20cm high. (2) Provenance: Private Deceased Estate.
