A George III silver navette-shaped five-piece cruet, comprising a pair of silver-mounted cut glass ewers, salt and pepper pots, and an oval mustard pot with urnular finial, the coasting gallery brightly engraved with a border of anthemions and spheres within wrigglework bands above a laureate garland, centred by a monogrammed oval cartouche, acanthus-capped loop handle, double-girdle to stem, incurved wrigglework frame, skirted base, slightly splayed feet, 24cm high, probably John Gold, London 1796
