Victorian mahogany side table with top carved in Arts and Crafts style (perhaps a student's piece). Standing on reeded baluster legs becoming cabriole at the stretchered under-tier level, with brown china castors. The oblong barbed top is carved to the border with stylized vine leaves and grapes, symmetrical on two axes, with a central rectangular reserve. The underside of the top has a schools paper label with student's name Reekes, and a With Care paper label. Height 72cm, width 60cm, depth 42cm. A/f personal inspection recommended, top has a couple of drying splits, watermarks, a partially drilled hole to centre, undertier with drilled central hole. The top edge sides have a few veneer losses, and one of the cornice pieces at the top of a leg is missing.
