£1,100
A 1930s vintage three stone diamond ring, with a pretty platinum and 18ct yellow gold scroll mount, set with three old cut diamonds, with an estimated approx combined diamond weight of 1.10cts, finger size N1/2, weight 2.6gms
Inscribed ;- JN To DM 25-7-31, this is quite lightly engraved and could be filled & filed away. One claw is missing, as these are double claws, it does not show and the diamond is safe in its setting.
I cannot give you the 4c's as I am not qualified to do so, but I can tell you what I can see.
The centre diamond has a carbon dot to the table, only just eye visible and a smaller one to the star facets, side 1; cluster of carbon dots to both sides of the diamond these are not eye visible and only visible with a loope. side 2; miniscule surface reaching inclusion, only just visible with a loope, a clear feather & some tiny carbon dots, these are not eye visible and only visible with a loope. Good colour I would estimate it at H, no hint of yellow.
This is my favorite lot, the mount is really pretty, tiny dink to one of the platinum shoulders, overall a lovely sparkly ring.
