Carmen Dillon (1908-2000), costume designs for J B Priestley's play 'Eden End' at the Old Vic 1974, starring Michael Jayston as Charles Appleby, first sketch is for his character holding a stick, pencil and watercolour, framed, another similar is labelled 'Stella on Friday', one 'Geoffrey Farrant', and the last is untitled but depicts a female wearing stole and hat. Each 39 x 21.5cm. One framed.
The production was directed by Sir Lawrence Olivier and a similar costume design is held at the Victoria & Albert museum.
