A solitaire diamond ring, early 20th century, claw-set with an antique cushion-shaped diamond stated to weigh 5.08 carats, to a knife edge platinum band, size P1/2, reshanked

In our specialist's opinion the diamond measuring approximately 10.2 x 10.2 x 6.7mm is approximately K/L colour, I1 clarity (some scattered small black inclusions and feather beneath table, nearly aligned with culet and so not immediately obvious to naked eye), faint to medium blue fluorescence. Ring in good condition, gross weight approximately 5 grams
