Ship's Cargo Manifest Stowage Plan for the German Liner S.S. Belgia on her voyage from New Orleans to Baltimore, Boston, Norfolk, Hamburg departing on July 11th 1914, 88cm x 53cm, framed and glazed (the S.S. Belgia was the first German vessel to be captured in the First World War, her cargo included zoo animals and large alligators. She was captured in Newport, Wales by the local Newport Police Force with the captain taken for interrogation and the crew interned as prisoner of wars)
