A CHARLES II OAK JOINED STOOL

the rectangular seat with a moulded edge and secured in place with four pegs, over a plain frieze with a moulded lower section, on turned legs joined by rectangular stretchers, 48cm high x 45.4cm wide x 28cm deep

Provenance: Ven House, Milborne Port, Somerset and probably moved to Sandford Orcas in the 1920's. The underside of the seat bearing the remains of a label inscribed "Ven House".
