A good and fairly large sequined fan, c 1900, the gold lamé leaf overlaid on alternate folds with black silk, designs embroidered in gold and silver spangles differing alternately, an upper border with gold sequins of a different shade, the wood monture painted black and inlaid to match, contained in a cream silk Faucon Paris fan box with the addition of a gold paper label for Duvelleroy London in the lid, guard approx. 23cm
The fan is in very good order, the box exterior is sound but marked slightly and discoloured underneath.
