Victorian silver coffee pot, maker Robert Harper, London 1871, tapered and fluted oval form engraved with the crest of a stag and with foliate garlands and engraved horizontal bands (handle and finial removed), height 23cm, weight approx. 697g
Both the handle and the finial have been removed and are not available. The finial stem is present together with the wingnut. There are scuff marks around the handle base. Minor surface scratches elsewhere consistent with normal use. Some light sharp point dents visible on the body. The hallmarks are clear on the underside. There is a bend to the spout with associated crease at the base of the spout.
