Victorian Light Cavalry Pattern Officers Sword by Wilkinson. A good example of the 1821 Light Cavalry pattern sword. The blade with a 35 1/2 inch blade this with etched decoration of a crowned VR cypher and also a family crest of a stags head. The forte with the cutlers details of Wilkinson and the blade with the number 16334 (1869). The hilt of the regulation pattern with three bar open guard and round chequered pommel. Housed in polished brown leather field service scabbard with steel chape. Overall GC blade in clean condition
