An early 20th century Italian Bersagliere infantry officer’s sword, slender, curved blade 32”, fullered for two thirds length into twin central fullers at DE point, etched with Italian arms, trophies, foliate devices, etc, on both sides, brass hilt with panelled knucklebow, roll quillon and 4 foliate scrolled sidebars, lion’s head pommel and plain backstrap into thumb catch, 4-finger shaped darkwood grip, in its black painted scabbard with 2 rings.
