WW1 OBE (Mil), BWM and Victory Medal with MID oakleaf to Major C.E. Cleeve extremely fine. Charles Edward Cleeve's OBE was announced in the London Gazette dated 3rd June 1919 serving with RASC and twice MID as Captain in Gazette dated 29th May 1917 and 16th March 1919. With original OBE bestowal document, commissioning warrant, 2 different MID certificates with Churchill signatures, negative of 4 ASC officers in damaged building, various The P.P. A.S.C.M.T. WW1 magazines. With copied MIC and LGs, he was commissioned 26/4/15, landed France April 1916, re-appointed Major in RASC 1/12/39, resigned his commission 24/8/43. (See photo) (R)
