A PRUSSIAN MAN's KURASSIER TYPE HELMET OF THE 2ND KURASSIER REGIMENT. A Steel helmet with round spike finial and flared neck guard, with a brass helmet plate bearing the extra battle honour for 'Hohenfriedberg 4 Juni 1745' to commemorate of Frederich the Great's most famous victories. With chin strap with brass chinscales and large Reichs and Prussian cockades. 30cm front to back, 20cm wide and 27cm high. *CR Some pitting to surfaces, lacking helmet liner.
