1952 Fender Telecaster electric guitar, made in USA; Body: original stripped and oiled body, neck cavity repaired beneath the guard with wood insert also visible within the treble cutaway; Neck: figured maple with correct Tadio Gomez pencil mark, finish wear to back, doweled holes to back of head from previously installed tuners; Fretboard: maple, appears to have been lightly sanded with minor bevel visible to the treble edge, twenty-first fret position marker missing, other markers with partial loss to circumference, fillet of wood inserted behind nut, original decal with touch-up repairs due to previously installed string trees; Electrics: working, bridge pickup original and neck pickup appears of period, original volume potentiometer, replaced tone potentiometer (original included in the sale), old style capacitor; Hardware: original black guard scratchplate with general play wear, original control plate, original bridge and neck plate, all hardware with surface rust present, neck plate screws replaced, bridge saddles and adjustment screws replaced, knobs appear original, replacement Kluson style tuners (five originals included in the sale), strap buttons appear original; Case: original Bulwin relined hard case; Weight: 3.32kg; Overall condition: fair
