R.M.S. TITANIC: Superb real photo postcard written onboard the Titanic, showing Titanic in Southampton. Postally used April 11th, 1912, signed 'Your affectionate brother Ernest.' Ernest Portage Tomlin was a Third-Class passenger who died in the sinking, his body was recovered by the Mackay-Bennet, #50 on April 21st, 1912. Also sold with a photograph of Mr Tomlin.
