MISCELLANY OF STAMPS & COVERS INCLUDING TWO 1840 1d BLACKS: Three cartons holding an accumulation of mostly recent stamps & covers, but inc. 3 Jul 1841 env. (staining) from Golspie to Edinburgh with 3/4 margin 1d black PJ tied by black MX; also in the lot, a May 2000 'Mercury' ltd. edition cover with 1840 1d black encapsulated. Other material includes QEII 80th birthday pres. pack of 4 x sterling silver 'stamps', Euro 1996 silver proof £2 coin and several other assorted coin covers, Westminster Presentation cases, one with 1887 Jubilees used set, the other with 1976 Social Reformers 8½p showing major perf. shift, etc. Also a small qty. of decimal mini sheets, loose decimal issues, a few recent FDCs and a 'Millenium' album with 1999 mint issues. Lot also includes a qty. of modern mint Commonwealth Royal Event issues and a pocket book with virtually complete collection of the 1937 Coronation omnibus issues. A good 'sorter'.
