AN AFRICAN GREY MARBLE HEAD OF A MALE, polished to front, the sides and back unpolished, B K and * scratched into the back, height 25.8cm x depth 9cm, believed given by an African chief (Malawi) to the vendor's father in the 1930's / 40's in gratitude for looking after his personal possessions due to his fleeing during times of Tribal Warfare (Condition Report: a few nicks in the edges of the marble but in good condition overall)
