A VERY FINE AND LARGE MID -TO LATE 17TH CENTURY BRASS TRUMPET-BASE CANDLESTICK, ENGLISH CIRCA 1650-80. Having a broad socket flange above a slightly waisted corded upper stem and a drip-pan, the corded lower stem on a broad and spreading circular base, with stepped narrow foot rim, fine decorative incised lines throughout, height 24.3cm, base diameter 21.1cm
