WW1 BWM and Victory Medal re-named in neat capitals to Capt D.C. Hamilton very fine. With a reproduction Military Cross. Sold with range of original documents and photos of Lieut Col Douglas Christopher Hamilton Cheshire & South Staffs Regts and R.E. with 1944 War Office Certificate of Appreciation, 1942 letter for help with staff work for Operation Torch, cabinet photo in uniform, MBE (1946) bestowal document and 2 letters of transmission, photo in Lt Col R.E. uniform and photo in civilian attire and certified copy of death certificate. The award of the MC was announced in the London Gazette dated 4th June 1917. (½B)
