JAPANESE MEIJI BOXWOOD FROG NETSUKE, late 19th century, signed Masanao, of Ise Yamada with eyes inlaid in amber, height 2 cm x length 3.5 cm x depth 2.5 cm
General surface wear commensurate with age, no visible signs of restoration. There is one crack to the boxwood along the frog's left shoulder, running down towards the base approx. 2 cm long. Another small crack underneath. Two small chips to the left side of the face on the eyebrow and mouth.
