Good French repeater carriage clock striking on a gong, stamped no. 4524 on the movement back plate, under the base and on the foot, also stamped no. 31504 under the base, the 2.25" white dial signed J. Silvani, 13 & 14 Kings Road, Brighton within a foliate engraved mask and finely engraved gorge case with unusual cartouche panelled sides; also with outer Morocco leather travelling case
The going train appears to be working correctly, the repeat function works but only chimes once and there appears to be a problem with the striking train, the case is in generally good condition with some loss of gilding, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible
