A novel which was banned until the 1960s in Ireland. The life of the Irish tailor and storyteller, Timothy Buckley, and his wife Anastasia (Ansty) Buckley (née McCarthy). Some foxing to the edges, binding in excellent condition.
Accompanied with two hand written letters from Alec Waugh. The first dated 3.3.43 and is written to someone by the name of Leo. The second is dated Jan. 20. 1947 again to Leo and written on The Athenaeum, Pall Mall S.W.1 headed paper.
