Ultra-Rare Chile v Ireland 1952 Rugby Programme: When the Irish were set to tour Argentina in 1952 Eva Peron, 'Evita', died. When the hosts moved to call off the trip they were told (nudge, wink) that they were already in the air. A week's national mourning saw this game in Chile hurriedly arranged in lieu of the first Argentine meeting, and precious few of the flimsy but fascinating programmes survive from a unique fixture. Signed by Mark Birthistle, Irish reserve on the day, this is a tad creased: but gold dust
