A European (German?) cavalry officer’s sword, c 1760-1780, broad slightly curved blade 34” engraved with trophies, the barred steel hilt having large thumb ring, ovoid pommel, and wire bound fishskin covered grip. GC (blade slightly worn with small patches of light pitting, the hilt lightly pitted overall). £200-300
