Scottish Covers and Postal History; 1841 (21 March) entire Saltcoats to Greenock with Penny Red Imperf (black plate 8 or 9) with black MC (faintly tied at top). Four margin (close right and top), cover a bit grubby, horizontal filing crease does not seem to have harmed adhesive. Rectangular backstamps for Saltcoats and Greenock.
