Catalogue amendment: Fernando Liger Hidalgo (Spanish, 1880-1945), The entrance to the Alhambra Palace, Grenada, watercolour, indistinctly signed, 24cm x 18cm

More Information

The watercolour is on textured paper 'Whatman' type. The colours may be a little faded towards the top upper part of the picture. However, towards the sides, the reds can still be seen.
Signature bottom right.
The card mount is discoloured to an even brown hue. The frame is presentable. Both framing and mount would suggest that the watercolour dates perhaps to the 1920s or 1930s.
The watercolour would benefit from re-mounting and framing.
