Charles II 17th century Oak panel back chair. Shaped top rail housing carved lozenge cartouche panel with deep carved geometric patterns. Hinged seat atop two turned frontal supports and two straight back supports upon box stretcher. Notable alteration and repairs have been made. Height: 100cm

The box underneath the seat looks to have a replacement bottom. The side panels here may also have been replaced. Wear to bases of legs with some splintering and damage. Age related wear overall also.
