Egypt Medal dated 1882 no bar named (Lieut J C Tyler 24th Cy (R)E). Naming worn in the normal way. With an 1882 Khedives Star. Tyler was present at the Action of Kassassin 9th Sept 1882. 1920 Army War Services has him as Bt. Col, Retired. Born 11/6/1854, Lt 12/9/1872, Capt 12/9/1884, Major 18/1/1892, Retired 1903.
