A WWII Second World War British Reconnaissance staff Type D Stereoscope used to view ariel photographs for interpretation purposes. Two lenses set in flat metal plate with pivoting legs to either side. Lacking the base plate. Housed in brown leather pouch along with a 1945 dated mess fork.
