Victorian / Edwardian Officers Peaked Forage Cap. A good example of dark blue melton cloth with wide band of gold lace. The black patent leather peak with one row of bullion. The interior with leather sweatband and scarlet quilted silk lining. This with gilt tooling of J.B. Johnstone London & Dublin. Ink name O'Niel to the sweatband. Overall GC clean condition. Sweatband fragile to parts one or two small moth nips. Chinstrap absent Possibly Royal Engineers
