Viking Zoomorphic Buckle and Plate. Circa 10th century CE. Copper-alloy, 57mm. An impressive Borre-style buckle with intact fixing plate. Ref: Resembling strap-ends of Thomas Class B Type 4 (multi-headed); see a buckle from Norwich Greyfriars (Emery 2007).
