A late 19th century 1886 French Neoclassical gilt metal and bronze tazza urn. The prize trophy featuring scrolled gilt metal handles & Roman style masks, the urn of squat form featuring scrolling column decoration over tapering foot featuring relief recurring motifs. This over square plinth base. Raised on gilt metal hairy paw feet. Plaque to centre front reading Societe de Tir aus Pigeons de Berck sur Mer Grand Championnat 1886 Premier Prix Mr. L. Prevost.
