A Swedish blue painted dome top oak marriage trunk. Initialled and dated 1866, with floral painted garlands and iron bands, the interior with a candle box, height 67cm, width 138cm, depth 63cm.
Cracks, chips to domed topped panels, rubbing and wear to paint commensurate with age. Lifting to one of the iron bands on top with replacement fixings. Images of affected areas on Lay's website.
