A Chinese Kraak porcelain blue and white bowl, Wanli Period (1572–1620), the bowl of circular form internally decorated to the centre with two cranes in a rocky landscape, within borders of floral vignettes and mask decorated rim, the exterior decorated with a panelled design, 31cm wide
No obvious cracks however the bowl rings dull. The rim shows dirtied glaze grazes and chipping. Extensive underglaze fritting. The underside pitted. Surface scratching can be seen. A circular patch of oxidisation to the glaze at the base. No obvious signs of restoration.
