Victoria (1837-1901), Crown, 1844, unfinished die obverse at bott om of hair, star stops, young fi lleted head left, W WYON. RA raised on truncation, date below, toothed border surrounding both sides, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within laurel wreath, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF, edge inscription with star stops, DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI VIII (S. 3882; ESC 338; Bull 2561). Toned, a few contact marks but otherwise a pleasing Very Fine, scarce.
