A Royal Doulton blue and white plate, with pie crust rim, and the central motif for 'HOULDER LINE OF STEAMERS' along with their logo of a flag with a cross to the centre -- 8 ¾in. (22cm.) diam.
Houlder Line was a number of related British shipping companies originally established by the Houlder brothers. Houlder Brothers & Co was formed in London 1856 and operated in the market for chartered tonnage.
Intact. No chips or cracks. Crazing to the glaze overall. Small flaw to glaze on underside.
