George V 9ct gold vesta case, by William Neale & Son, Chester 1912, with engine turned and bright cut decorated border, vacant cartouche, 4.5cm, weight approx. 24g
The condition generally is good. There is very slight compression at the bottom edge of the striker, closing the gap ever so slightly at one end. There are very minor pinprick dents to the leading edge and one to the edge of the cover.
The cover closes tightly.
The hallmarks are clear.
There are some minor surface scuffs visible on the vacant cartouche.
No further damage to report.
