William Moorcroft for Macintyre, a Florian ware Peacock vase, circa 1900, finished in shades of blue and green, painted signature mark, printed Florian mark, height 26.5cm
NB: A similar vase is illustrated in Paul Atterbury's 'A Guide to Moorcroft Pottery 1897-1993', pg. 40, pl. 3
We can find no damage or restoration to this piece, other than some very minor sporadic surface scratches consistent with age. The interior glaze above the foot has some craquelure visible, but none is evident on the exterior.
The signature on the base is a little faint but is present.
