Medals relating to the Carden family:
1. The Royal Order of the Sword of Sweden (Kungliga Svärdsorden), Commander's neck badge in its C.F. Carlman case - awarded to Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Christopher Carden O.B.E. (1908-1993), 4th Baronet Carden, 17/21st Lancers, military attaché to Stockholm 1951-1955. (4 mm crack to one section of enamel.)
2. A group of seven to Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Christopher Carden with miniatures: O.B.E., 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-1945, General Service Medal - Palestine 1945-48 (LT. COL. C.H. CARDEN. 17/21 L.) and Coronation Medal.
3. The Military Cross (George V) - the recipient is believed to have been a brother officer of Lt.-Col. Ronald James Walter Carden (1876-1916) 17th Lancers.
4. The Order of the British Empire, Officer's badge (Military O.B.E.), assayed London 1929, in its Garrard & Co. case.
