A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1355, 1936, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5300 which became BR 45300. Its sheds included Crewe, both North and South, and Holyhead from where it was withdrawn in November 1967 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Cast brass, 8¼"x5", repairs to the top bolt holes, the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
