Thomas Bush Hardy RBA (1842-1897) - 'HMS Acteon Dismasted' and being towed by tugs on a river with other shipping beyond, signed and indistinctly dated possibly 1891 also inscribed by the artist, pencil watercolour and gouache, heightened with white, 8.25" x 27.25"

This work has slightly faded, there is some slight oxidisation around the Chinese white and gouache, this is noticeable on the left hand side of the picture around the shipping and buildings in the distance, otherwise no damages or tears and contained within a wash lined cream card mount and plain outer gilt plaster and wooden frame, under glass.
