A Chinese porcelain square stem-bowl, Tongzhi (1862-1874), decorated in the famille rose palette depicting a cat on a rocky outcrop, with canted corners raised on a circular base, 12.5cm wide, with a similar stem bowl decorted with birds amongst prunus blooms, 12.8cm wide (2)

Square - No obvious chips, cracks or restoration. Surface staining and scratches visible. Pitting evident. Some wear to the decoration can be seen. Gilt wear to the rim.
Circular - More noticeable wear to the centre of the bowl and decoration. Wax residue to the rim. No obvious cracks, chips or restoration. Gilt wear.
