A Georgian Hallmarked Silver Swing Handled Sugar Basket, (makers mark indistinct) London 1793, with bright cut engraved decoration and beaded edge, on oval pedestal base with beaded swing handle, initialled, 13cm wide (165grams).
The sugar basket has areas of pitting to inner bowl, some small dents to rim. Handle swings smoothly, as should and feels secure. Allover abrasions throughout with areas of pitting noted. Small dents to base, sits flush.
