A TIBETAN PAINTED CHEST

17th/18th century, the lifting top opening to a vacant interior, the façade decorated with a central motif surrounded by further characters, against a red ground and within filled borders, iron strapwork to the corners, 60cm high x 109cm wide x 47cm deep

Provenance: Purchased Duke's, 9th May 2013, Lot 279. Formerly of the James Yarrow Collection of Chinese and Tibetan Furniture.
