OFFICIAL MAIL - PARLIAMENT: A large binder containing some ephemera but mainly 1972-97 envs. mostly with House of Lords/Commons cachets/cds's, but also Lord Great Chamberlain, Clerk of the Parliament, Speaker, Staff Superintendent cachets; some earlier mail inc. 1857 EL to the Advocates Library, Edinburgh with a fine red wax seal (broken across flap but complete) of "PARLIAMENTARY/PRINTING/OFFICE/PROCEEDINGS": 1870 env. to Manchester franked 1d red tied by "LONDON S.W./S.W./23" duplex still sealed by a "SPEAKER/[crown]/HOUSE OF COMMONS" red wax seal; six 19th C. etchings of Parliament buildings; and 1970s/80s "Redirected Packets" labels stamped "URGENT M.P.'s MAIL" (6).
