** POW CAMP MAIL FROM MANCHURIA; c1943 POW censored PC to England with framed "SERVICE DES PRISONNIERS DE GUERRE" h.s., framed Chinese-character "HOTEN POW CAMP HEADQUARTERS CENSORED" incorporating a circular red seal (unrecorded by Tett), violet Japanese "FURYO YUBIN" h.s. Typed and signed message on rear 'The Mukden Prisoner of War Camp/Mukden Manchukuo'. Three examples are believed to exist of which this is the only one with the violet POW mark.
