Manner of Sir Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723), half length portrait of a lady in white and blue, unsigned, oil on canvas, 72 x 60cm, later framed and glazed, frame 86 x 73.5 cm Probably late 18th/early 19th century in date. Frame with later gilded timber backing. Canvas has been glued to the stretcher, causing a crystalising effect to the painted area around the edge. Radiating craquelure from the centre. White re-touching to the centre of the nose.
